Q.  Who will hire my Personal Assistant and is their a limit to how many personal assistants I may employ at one time?

A.    Payroll Services gives you the greatest degree of choice in hiring your personal assistants.  You hire or dismiss your Personal Assistants.  You may advertise to recruit new employees.  We will reimburse you for the incurred costs.  You screen, determine qualifications and eligibility, and interview applicants.  All employees must follow a wage guideline.  It is your decision to the hourly wage.  There is no limit to how many Personal Assistants you hire.   It is best to always have a back up Personal Assistant in place.

Q.  Am I able to offer my Personal Assistants Benefits?

A. CILCP Payroll Services offers limited Health Insurance coverage benefit, a Longevity Bonus which consists of a cash bonus throughout the year to eligible Personal Assistants, $25.00 referral bonus when a consumer that is referred selects us as their provider of choice, and we will match any other provider’s hourly rate of pay for their Personal Assistant services.

Q.   What Services are provided by Payroll Services?

A.   Services provided include:

1. Completion and filing of paperwork to employ your own personal assistants.
2. Process timesheets and prepare payroll for the distribution of bi weekly paychecks for your employees
3. Preparation of workers compensation policy and support for claims
4. Submission of all taxes and withholdings to the IRS and other appropriate agencies
5. Criminal background check and child abuse clearance, free of charge
6. Hepatitis B vaccinations for your employees, free of charge
7. Provide the consumer with information, orientation, training, and assistance with interviewing and hiring as needed.

Q.      How much will this service cost me?

A.      All of the Payroll Services provided to you are paid through your approved PA Home and Community Based Waiver Services.  You will not experience any unexpected out of pocket expenses, unless you are receiving services in the ACT 150 Attendant Care Program.  Persons who want to private pay, will experience fees for the service, as well as, the cost of paying wages for their employee.
