Life-Changer of the Month: Kaori Kelly
Kaori Kelly has been working for the Center for Independent Living of Central Pennsylvania since 2016. As a Nursing Home Transition Specialist, Kaori frees people with disabilities from institutions. Her most recent transition success story was featured in this month’s newsletter—check it out here.
“Kaori pours everything she has into each consumer she works with. Her generous, caring approach makes each transition special,” says Pam Auer, Director of the Living Well With A Disability Program. “Kaori is known for going above and beyond—she earns people’s trust, helps them with everything she can, and often maintains a relationship with her consumers for a long time.”
Kaori went to Columbia International University to study Missions and General Ministries. In her free time, she is a puppy raiser for Susquehanna Service Dogs.
Thank you, Kaori for your commitment to CILCP, and your passion for assisting individuals with disabilities in their transition from nursing homes to community-based living! You are the Life-changer of the Month!
