CILCP’s Living Well Transport Services (LWTS) provide transportation services to people with disabilities.
People with disabilities make up 6 million (40 percent) of the almost 15 million people in the country who have difficulties getting the transportation they need.1 CILCP would like to reduce this number by providing LWTS to people with disabilities across the state of Pennsylvania.
CILCP has a state-of-the-art accessible vehicle for transporting people with disabilities. Drivers are trained to secure a wide variety of wheelchairs to the vehicle, reducing the risk of injury.
CILCP Living Well Transport Services operate outside of normal business hours and can be used for non-medical appointments, but also professional destinations and leisure activities.
If you are interested in accessing Living Well Transport Services or want to reserve your ride, please contact the CILCP office at email@example.com or by telephone at 717-731-1900 x 267.
CILCP believes that access to affordable, accessible transportation is a basic human right. Mobility allows a person to connect with her/his community and other essential life destinations. Therefore, we are committed to fighting for further access to transportation for people with disabilities.
If you are interested in joining the fight for transportation please contact the CILCP office at firstname.lastname@example.org or by telephone at 717-731-1900 x 226.
“I had an appointment and I’m thinking, ‘okay, how am I going to get all of the way there?’ The Center has a van and they decided to help me out.” – Karen Myers
