Letter from Incoming CEO Janetta Green
We Are CILCP!
Bob Dylan’s song Times They Are A-Changin’ makes me think of what is happening at the CILCP! Change gives each of us a chance to experience growth, development, opportunities and challenges! So, as the CILCP goes through this new transition in leadership, we will experience some great opportunities and some tough challenges. All of us, including the staff, Board of Directors, community, providers, vendors and consumers, are in this together! We are the CILCP!
In the near future, CILCP will be implementing some internal changes, developing a strategic plan, offering more consumer opportunities and aggressively expanding HomeCare Services and services for Pennsylvania’s Office of Developmental Programs (ODP). I anticipate new collaborations and working with each of you as we work toward our mission! Each of us has a unique gift, talent or skill to offer to CILCP and I am excited to see what we can do together over the next year!

Join us this May as we celebrate Older Americans Month!
Each year, more and more older adults are making a positive impact in and around communities. As volunteers, employees, employers, educators, mentors, advocates, and more, they offer insight and experience that benefit the entire community. That’s why Older Americans Month (OAM) has been recognizing the contributions of this growing population for 56 years.
Let by the Administration for Community Living (ACL) each May, OAM provides resources to help older Americans stay healthy and independent, and resources to help communities support and celebrate their diversity.
