Message from CEO Janetta Green
As a follow up to last month’s message, times they ARE a changing and we continue to see change at the CILCP. Earlier this month, Ginny Rogers joined our team as Director of Community Services. You will learn more about Ginny and her new role in the next newsletter.
I am also very excited to announce that in May the Board of Directors and CILCP’s management began the process of developing the organization’s strategic plan! Why is this so exciting to me? Because it is a process that assists CILCP’s leadership to set priorities and prepare for our future!
CILCP is already looking toward 2020 as Phase 3 of the Community Health Choices (CHC) comes to our area! We have been communicating with the three managed care organizations for the past two years and now the real work begins! Review the article entitled, “The Time Has Come for Our Managed Care Participant Training Sessions!” in this newsletter and take advantage of our upcoming trainings on CHC in June so you know what to expect!

The Time Has Come for Our Managed Care Participant Training Sessions!
The PA Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR) needs your help!
In its quest to build an outdoor recreation plan that will serve all Pennsylvanians, DCNR is looking for public input from residents and interest groups through an online survey.
Survey results will help DCNR and its partners determine outdoor recreation programs and funding priorities for Pennsylvania’s next five-year outdoor recreation plan.
The online survey should take less than 10 minutes to complete and will remain open through the end of June.
The survey link is:
It also can be found on DCNR’s website www.dcnr.pa.gov under Hot Topics.

Give Back 2019 Runs Through June! We are still raising funds for Living Well Transport Services (LWTS).
Thank you to everyone who came out to this year’s Highmark Walk for a Healthy Community on May 18th! We enjoyed the fun and fellowship while raising nearly $7,000 for LWTS.
There is still time to make a donation! Help us to reach our goal of $20,000 so we can offer people with disabilities and older adults another option to travel in their community.
