The holiday season is upon us and the team at the CILCP could not be more excited. We look forward to concluding a successful year of furthering our mission to assist individuals with disabilities in overcoming obstacles that prevent them from living well. We are ready to make 2019 another great year.
We hope our staff, consumers and stakeholders enjoy their holiday season with friends and family. However, we recognize that this season may expose some new challenges that are preventing you from achieving your highest quality of life. Perhaps you find it difficult to obtain transportation to and from your social gatherings. Perhaps your home is not as accessible as you need it to be, and you are unable to fully participate in get-togethers. Perhaps you discover you are in need of an attendant to help with personal care and homemaking. Or perhaps you feel isolated and alone during a time that should be full of socialization. Regardless of your personal situation and the unique challenges you may face as an individual with a disability this holiday season (and beyond), we have services designed to combat each of these obstacles and would love to have a conversation about living well.
Please, I encourage you, enjoy this season and the joy it will bring, and contact our team if there are barriers to your independence that are hindering your quality of life. We are here to help and we would appreciate the opportunity to come alongside you in your journey. Thank you and happy holidays!
