Living Well Transport

Living Well Transport Services (LWTS) is your key to independence!  We provide rides to people with disabilities and older adults who want to be out and about!  All of our vehicles are accessible to transport individuals using wheelchairs, scooters or another mobility device.

LWTS is unique. LWTS is flexible.  LWTS has:

  • friendly & personal service from making a reservation to arriving home.
  • no long wait time to be picked up or dropped off at the destination.
  • seven days a week service.  This includes evening hours!
  • no restricted reasons for a ride.
  • drivers who are vetted and sensitive to people with disabilities and older adults.

We provide service to residents of the following Counties:

  • Cumberland
  • Dauphin
  • Lancaster
  • Lebanon
  • Perry

LWTS crosses county lines! If you live in Cumberland County and want to visit friends in Lebanon County, we can get you there and back safely!

Fees & Payment Options

There is a fee to ride with us. LWTS tries to accommodate as many people as possible by offering three options:

  • Private Pay

    With this option, you pay “out of your pocket.”  LWTS accepts credit cards, debit cards and checks.

  • State and County Programs

    LWTS accepts payments for rides through state and county programs. The program pays the CILCP for the ride. No monies come “out of your pocket.”  Contact our office to see if you are eligible for this program.

Please contact our office for a quote and to get answers to your questions about these options. LWTS staff will help you determine which option works best for you!

Ride Request

The process is simple!  Our staff attempts to accommodate all ride requests. It is best if we have at least 24 hours’ notice, but more notice is always better! It gives us time to fit your request in the schedule. We want to get you where you need to go!

  • Step 1

    Please call 717-731-1900 and ask for “Transportation” or send an email to
    Be ready to provide the following information:

    • Date of your ride
    • Pick-up address
    • Pick-up time
    • Destination name & address
    • Appointment time
  • Step 2

    LWTS staff may ask clarifying questions, provide you with a quote and get your payment method.

  • Step 3

    Next, you will receive a ride and payment confirmation for your records

  • Step 4

    After LWTS schedules your ride, you will receive the following:

    • Type and color of vehicle for your ride
    • Driver’s name
    • Driver’s mobile phone number

Now, you are all set!
LWTS will be at the curb waiting for you at the scheduled date and time!

Artis Senior Living of West Shore is extremely thankful to work with Living Well Transport Services. As a Personal Care community dedicated to serving people with dementia or memory loss, we utilize Living Well Transport Services to transport our residents to medical appointments, scenic rides and other excursions. We have enjoyed seeing Christmas lights, gone bowling and visited an apple orchard all with the help of the fabulous team at Living Well Transport Services. Cancellation policy

  • Less than 24 hours’ notice

    If the customer cancels their confirmed ride less than 24 hours from the pick-up time, the customer is charged 50% of the quoted fee.

  • Driver is en route

    If the customer cancels their confirmed ride while the driver is en route to the pick-up address, the customer pays the quoted fee. No monies are refunded.

  • Weather

    LWTS reserves the right to cancel a ride due to weather. Our goal is to keep our customers and drivers safe. If LWTS cancels a ride due to weather, the customer receives a refund.

    Manages our fleet to ensure the vehicles and equipment are in proper working order, and in a pinch puts on his driving hat. When he can, you will find Tony in his studio playing his guitar.

    Has been with us from the beginning. In addition to driving around South-Central PA, she spends as much time as possible with her granddaughter and baking.

  • Ed Proctor, Driver

    No, it is not a coincidence! Ed and Nora are husband and wife and are co-owners of P&R Bakery.

  • Roseann Jefferson, Driver

    A.K.A. “Ro” When she is not wearing her driver hat, she spends time with her 13 great grandkids or you may catch her singing at different venues. Her favorite song is Killing Me Softly by Roberta Flack.
