This is the time of year that we reflect on reasons to be thankful. We remain thankful for the people we are privileged to serve, the dedication of our staff, board members, volunteers and for the generosity of our donors. It is through your support of the Center for Independent Living of Central PA (CILCP) that we are able to provide quality and innovative services to people with diverse disabilities.
I assure you that your donation has made a great impact on the lives of the people served by CILCP. Your support has carried us through a difficult year and at times it didn’t seem possible. But we did it! We moved to a new location in Harrisburg, implemented a new Direct Care Worker training program and even started, with the help of some diligent players and families, a brand-new wheelchair rugby team in Central PA called Phenom!
As you know, one act of kindness snowballs into other acts, so your generosity makes all the difference. Because you have enabled us to serve people with disabilities, they are now able to serve and participate in their community making it a better place for all.
